From early on owner Marc Weiss had a dream and a vision, to create a traditional American brewpub, a place where people could go to get authentic handcrafted ales and lagers, along with well prepared cuisine in a comfortable atmosphere.

On June 13, 1996 Marc Weiss' dream became a reality with the opening of the Malt River Brewing Company in the Latham Circle Mall.

Malt River Brewing Company's interior is a modern interpretation of the traditional brewpub, featuring rich mahogany finishes, original artwork and highly polished copper and stainless steel brewing vessels.

The unique interior design enables patrons to watch Malt River's Head Brewer through the glass enclosed brew house (the area's largest on premises brewing facility) as he mixes the grain and adds the hops to make the area finest and freshest ales and lagers.

The restaurant seats a total of 300 diners, 100 in the main floor Oak Room, 80 in the quaint and cozy Copper Room, 30 on the first floor patio and 110 in the main floor bar area including a classically designed 50 foot mahogany bar.

Adorning the main walls of the restaurant are original murals painted by renowned New York artist Frank Melton. Known for his unique style, Melton has created a colorful mural depicting the various stages of the beer making process.

At the Malt River Brewing Company you'll find a highly experienced management and wait staff, all extensively trained to be intimately acquainted with Malt River Brewing Company's menu and wide variety of handcrafted ales and lagers.

Whether it's to taste the fresh full bodied brews, sample the well prepared cuisine or just to relax in a comfortable atmosphere your first visit to the Malt River Brewing Company is sure to be a memorable one... We guarantee it.
