OUR BEER OFFERINGS:

Weiss’ Wheat: Served in the traditional way, unfiltered (heffe) Very drinkable (American Wheat Beer). Great on a hot summer day.

Razz-Ma-Tazz Raspberry Ale: A light and fruity brew.  Made with 100% all natural Raspberry extract flown in from Oregon.

Malt River Red: A medium bodied Irish Red Ale.  Caramel malts add a smooth maltiness.

Olde Albany Pale Ale: We have spared no expense in trying to create a “true” English Extra Special Bitter.  We use copious amounts of 2-row Malted Barley, and East Kent Goldings Hops.

Maple Porter: Seven different Malts give this Ale a complexity and deep dark chocolate finish.  We use the finest Vermont Maple syrup in the boil to add a little extra kick as well as additional flavor.

Sampler Platter: 5 oz. Samples of each of our beers, try six or more.

Light Razz: A light beer, brewed with equal parts wheat malt and 2-row Pale malt.  Just a hint of razz, and hopped with Tettnanger.  Alcohol by volume: 4% to 4.5%.

Sierra Madre: A tribute to one of our favorite American Pale Ales, this ale is brewed with plenty of pale ale malt, and of course generously hopped with Perle, Willamette, and Cascade hops.  About 6% alcohol by volume.

Blonde Ale: Our lightest offering, this beer has only Pale 2-row Brewers malt and a touch of Wheat malt, with a hint of the Tettnanger hops.  Alcohol by volume: 3.8% to 4%.

Maple Porter: Brewed with five different malts and hopped with Liberty and Willamette hops, this smooth porter is flavored with just a touch of Pure New York maple syrup.  About 6% alcohol by volume.

Brian’s Best Bitter: This complex ale is brewed with 8 different malts, including Marris Otter a traditional floor malted barely imported from England.  Well hopped with Magnum and Fuggles this ale is about 6.5% alcohol by volume.

Imperial Stout: A first for us at Malt River, this traditional strong stout is brewed with seven different malts including three imports from England.  Lightly hopped with Chinook and Fuggles this 7.5% stout is not for the faint of heart!

Malt River Red Ale: Our session beer, this ale is more on the malty side with a good hop balance to make it a smooth easy drinking beer.  Brewed with 2-row Pale, 60 degree lovibond Caramel, Munich, and Chocolate malts.  Hopped with liberty hops.  Alcohol by volume: 5% to 5.5 %.

Olde Albany Pale Ale: Generally, our number one seller, this is a British style pale ale with a good hop bitterness befitting the style.  Brewed with 2-row Pale, Pale Ale, and 60 degree lovibond Caramel malts.  Hopped with Magnum hops for bittering, and East Kent Goldings for aroma and flavor.  Alcohol by volume: 6% to 6.5%.
